WINE REPORT

Segura Viuda Brut Reserva:
Created from a blend of reserve and non-vintage wines, clean and delicate, yet rich in flavor. Brut Reserva is a cuvée of Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel-lo grapes grown. This fine cuvée is fairly crisp with an interesting floral note and mouth-pleasing sensation of creaminess.
750ml
$6.49*
Cycles Gladiator Syrah:
An intriguing combination of raspberry and plum aromas framed by fresh cracked pepper and pretty oak notes. The mouth is decidedly rich and spicy with big red fruit flavors layered over spice, tobacco, and blueberry. The wine is full bodied with soft tannins that melt into a medium thread of acidity. The gamey components of this wine make it a perfect match for duck and other wild fowl, lamb in a red wine reduction, or ribs and BBQ sauce.750ml
$8.99*
Kenwood Chardonnay (Sonoma):
Aromas of green apples and Asian pears followed by notes of tropical fruit and French oak, lush and viscous mouth feel with a lingering, slightly crisp finish. This refreshing Chardonnay is enjoyable as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to fresh greens, chicken and seafood dishes.750ml
$9.99*
Montgras Carmenere Reserva:
Color: Deep violet red . Bouquet: Powerful aromas of spices, wild herbs and vanilla.
Taste: Well-rounded, with subtle fruit flavors and soft tannins leading to a velvety finish.
Best served with spicy entrées, steak and rich cheeses.

Artesa Carneros Pinot Noir:
Abundant varietal character of pure Pinot Noir fruit. Sweet red and black cherry spice with hints of ripe raspberry. A sweet impression of juicy berry opens up the palate followed by more cherry and berry flavor. Smooth tannins and a complex body complete this Pinot Noir.

$16.99*
Bouland Morgon (Vintage 2006):
It has classic Gamay spice on the nose with a little summer berries and violets. On the palate there are flavors exactly as indicated by the aroma with some level of dustiness and a bit of white pepper. The perfect marriage of ripe berry fruit and a soft, rich palate, this red is ideal with just about anything you drag home from the supermarket, particularly those ready-to-eat, roasted whole chickens.750ml (P)
$16.99*
Sokol Blosser Evolution #9:
Every new bottling has its own subtle and fresh personality. The 9 grapes tie together perfectly, creating a smooth, layered white wine that can hold its own or stand up to just about any food pairing you dare to serve it with. It is extraordinarily food-friendly, from light salads to the hottest fusion-style cuisine. 750ml

Louis Martini Napa Chardonnay:
This wine exhibits lively fruit flavors of pear and green apple, balanced with subtle, rich flavors of vanilla and spice from the oak barrels that linger on the palate. Its bright, crisp acidity allows the wine to showcase the intense aromas and flavors characteristic of cool-climate Chardonnay. The Louis M. Martini Chardonnay is well structured, with layers of complexity and richness that will develop over time.
750ml (P)
$18.99*
Bearboat Pinot Noir:
Bearboat is aged in French oak for ten months. The wine has a beautiful cherry like color and has tastes of fresh strawberries and raspberries. The Bearboat Pinot Noir is a perfectly balanced red. It nicely accompanies lamb, beef and pork.

$20.99*
Ployez-Jacquemart Champagne:
This boutique gem located in Ludes - a veritable hamlet located between the villages of Chigny-les-Rose and Mailly - is a family-run entity that uses the combined expertise of father and daughter M. Ployez and Laurence Ployez. Though a formally trained chef, Laurence took on the responsibility of making ultra-premium champagne from the family's tiny Grand Cru vineyards. Her style is expressive and deep, and extracts all that the grape can express. The bubbles are of exquisite texture and complexity and have become many a champagne enthusiast's favorite.
